Pick up at all major Hotels & r commencing 8.00am for a 45 minutes coach transfer to the Robinson Crusoe Island Jetty for the 10.30am departure for a half hour Jungle River Cruise down the Tuva River.
On approach to the island be wary of the cannibals as a cannibal attack is likely so be prepared with your camera as it is a good photo opportunity as the cannibals are in traditional dress with weapons in hand.
After a great beach welcome by our staff & occasionally some of our in-house guests, a guide for the afternoon will explain the afternoon & evenings activities before you enjoy a scrumptious lunch.
After lunch enjoy some of our many free activities:-
- Board our snorkeling boat “Adi Katarina” or “Fijian Princess” to take a short trip out to our magnificent coral reef for some great snorkeling.
- Then take our Jungle Bush Walk with one of our guides who explains all the traditional methods using plants which grow naturally on our island as medicines.
- Jump into a Kayak & paddle all around our 28 acre island paradise
- Have a swim in our pool or take a dip in our beautiful lagoon
Venture down to our Turtle viewing area where you may be lucky enough to see one or two. Then take part in our crab racing - fiji style. Prizes are given for 1st, 2nd & 3rd racing crabs.
At extra cost perhaps take a Tube Ride, Stand up Paddle Board, Sports or Mangrove Fishing, Beach Massage or simply enjoy a refreshing drink from our Wreck Bar.
You will have plenty of free time to just sit in a hanging Air Chair reading a book or laze on the beach & top up your tan, look at the magnificent island scenery or just chill out & do nothing.
Sometime around 6.30pm join our Staff & occasionally some of our in-house guests for a great beach welcome and join in with a Traditional Welcome Kava Ceremony right on the beachfront.
The guests then meander over to the Lovo pit where Fijian traditions & cooking Lovo style is explained. When the food is taken out of the Lovo our Fijian warriors walk the hot stones & coals then its onto a fresh healthy dinner consisting of Roast Pork, Roast Beef, Roast Potato, Kumala , Roast Pumpkin, cassava or Dalo, Steamed Fresh Vegetables, Palusami & fresh Bread Rolls all served buffet style. Our traditional Kavaholic Band plays island guitars & sings whilst you enjoy your dinner.
Our fantastic & world famous South Pacific Island & Fijian Dance Spectacular Show begins with traditional Fijian Warrior dances, Traditional Polynesian, Melanesian & South Pacific Dances with Knife Dance and to finish off our spectacular Fire Dance. A fabulous finish to a great days entertainment.
Then finally a very heartfelt “Moce Sota Tale” from all our staff & some overnight houseguests before boarding our boats again to take the return Jungle Cruise back down the Tuva river back to our Jetty.
